St. Louis born and raised, Peter started acting at a young age and all that good stuff. When he left college things got interesting. Determining after a while that pretending to be one of the good guys was no longer good enough, Greathouse joined the Reserves and is proud to serve this country while not pretending to save it, overthrow it, or just struggle on by in it depending on how he's cast.
A classically trained actor well versed in the Bard's work, one of his favorite compliments he ever got was from the casting director of a hugely popular long-running soap opera regarding his audition for an under 5 in which she called his read "effortless." In a good way. We all gotta start somewhere.
Always happy to shave his head or grow a beard for whatever part comes next, Peter Greathouse is a highly trained (by the military, the stage combat experts of Dueling Arts, and of course the fine acting teachers of Chapman University) hard worker who can't wait to see what comes next.
After going through Intermediate, Advanced, and Teacher certification courses with Dueling Arts International, Peter moved from doing fight coordination on student films to the stage, film and the internet. Highlights include:
- Shakespeare Orange County (several productions over the course of three summers and counting)
- Funny or Die (four separate videos to date starring Milla Jovovich, Nick Offerman, Aisha Tyler and Sara Jean Underwood)
- The Seven Adventures of Sinbad (feature film aired several times on the SyFy network)
- The Annoying Orange (built fights with fellow performer Karl Ramsey for Cartoon Network's show based on the popular webseries)
